Phoenix & Mercury are One Month Old. Who ever thought we’d make it this far? Not Mercury, look at how mad he is in that picture. He’s for sure mad that he missed “Monster Train” while Mommy was changing his diaper.

Mercury

LIKES: Milk, Pooping, Being Held, White Noise, Making Bernie Hands, Making Zoolander Faces, Listening to Kanye with Daddy.

DISLIKES: Having His Diaper Changed, Being Set Down.

Mercury is a cutie. He has big chubby cheeks and makes lots of adorable faces. Many of them hilarious. He really likes to cross his little hands over one another, just like Bernie with the mittens:

Mercury has pretty clear emotions and shows them on his face. He has a real expressive face. He looks worried a lot.

Phoenix

LIKES: Milk, Pooping, Being Held, White Noise, Making Wizard Hands, Doing Touchdown, Hiccuping, Eating, Screaming.

DISLIKES: Having Her Diaper Changed, Being Set Down.

Wouldn’t you know it Phoenix is also a cutie! Her irises are really big and she has pointy elf ears (like her Mommy,) and she is/was teeny tiny. So sometimes she really reminds me of Baby Yoda. So sometimes I just call her that.

Phoenix is a bit more mysterious than her brother. I can’t usually tell what she’s thinking. Except when she cries. She has a mighty cry. If she’s not happy, she lets you know. Her movements are really spazzy and she loves to wave her arms and hands all over the place. But when Phoenix settles down she can be very, very peaceful and calm.

I get the feeling that she knows something that I don’t know. And it frightens me a little.

You’re A Wizard Phoenix!

All in all P & M are doing pretty darn good. And all things considered so are Tiff and I. We’ve been receiving a TON of support from Grandparents and siblings and friends and family. Sometimes its still really hard, but all the support makes it manageable. Thanks to everyone for helping and if anyone is reading this, thanks for reading!
