I think I’ve tried to fit a few posts in here and there between February and now, but was thwarted by login issues. This morning I had the time to get in through the back via our hosting platform. When I got into the site admin I felt the discomfort of all the plugin update alerts, outdated themes and other web based security and performance issues. I’m happy to say that I got the site from “Needs Improvement” all the way up to the highly coveted…..

Getting an “Everything is running smoothly here.” Is really hard. But I guess this site doesn’t have too much going on with it, so it makes sense.

SOMETIMES WORK FOLLOWS YOU HOME.

A lot has changed.

We bought a house, The Twins got a new cousin (!), The Twins moved up to Children’s House, Tiff got a new job, ; and of course Phoenix and Mercury continue to grow and grow.

Phoenix

Likes: Stalling, Rebellion, Tickles, Books, Bubbles, Taking a looooooooong time at the dinner table, Sleeping on the floor right in front of the door, Climbing, Slides, Fruit!, Her Family, Cooperating with her Brother, Chalk, Tether Ball, Her Scooter, Attention, Being in Charge.

Dislikes: Moving on to the next thing, Being told what to do, Cooperating with her Parents, Getting cleaned up, Going to bed, Napping, Dogs.

Mercury

Likes: Balls, Basketball, Football, Soccer, Golf, Books, Cars, Running, Solo Play, Cooperating, Helping, Playing Basketball, His Lawnmower, Books, Slides, Carbs, Tether Ball, Remembering Things, Napping, Sleeping, Bath Time, Telling Hilarious Jokes.

Dislikes: Having his play interrupted in any way, Coming to meals, Cleaning up after meals, Being antagonized by his sister, Dogs.

Momma

Likes: Bike Rides, Friends she never gets to see, The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Activities, Her new espresso machine, Getting out of the house, Reading + Writing, Coffee.

Dislikes: When I’m anxious and stressed, Downtime, Routine, Being at Home

Daddy

Likes: Dungeons & Dragons, Friends he never gets to see, Seinfeld, His new espresso machine, routine, being at home, movies at the theater, downtime, reading + writing….about dungeons & dragons, Coffee.

Dislikes: When I’m anxious and stressed, stressful outings, traffic, being too busy, uncooperative children, crying children, loud children.
