These are just a few things to remember before I forget. They come from different points in time between when I used to regularly update this and now.

Bath Time

I really like how Mercury says Bath Time. He says it like “Bass Time” and he gets excited about it. He used to get really rowdy with splashing. He’ get a huge open mouth smile and just start splashing the water all around. Phoenix would grin, but she’d look at Tiff and I kind of anxiously and blink away all the incoming water. It made him so happy. Now he’s kind of slowed down on that. Mostly stacking his toys on the edge of the tub.

Mike *****

They went through this phase for like about 2 months where they would just shout their uncle’s full name all the time for no reason. At the dinner table was a big time. In the car…in the cribs after lights out. Whenever. It was just all Mike ***** all the time.

Bob Seger

This didn’t last long, but it was fun while it did. It’s rare that Phoenix, Mercury and I can all agree on music but we all really enjoyed “Hollywood Hills” by Bob Seger. They’d call for it from time to time. “Bob Seger!”

I’m talking to YOU!

Right now our favorite is when they’ll say “Hey! I’m talking to YOU!” (Phoenix across the dinner table) “MERKY!” (Mercury ignores her and eats his food.) “MERKY! I’m talking to YOU!”

Generally it’s funny when Phoenix shouts at Mercury, which is a lot. “MERKY!” She’s always in his business.

Fireplace With A Man

Pretty much every night this holiday season we’ve put this one on and inevitably they call for it if I don’t. “Fi-yo place MAN!”

Those are the ones I can think of.

They’re a GD handful right now that’s for sure. But what wonderful little kids.
